Ridgecrest Subdivision Book Bag Donation

Bookbag The Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods (ASJN) remains diligent in passing blessings along to others. The President of Ridgecrest Subdivision, Porter Ross, reached out to ASJN President Ernest Ward, to request 8 book bags to pass out to students in his subdivision located across town. Mr. Ward did not hesitate to respond enthusiastically. Mr. Ward informed Mr Ross that “we are in this together, we help each other”.

The Bible teaches, “It is more blessings to give than to receive”. The Bible in Acts 20:35 states that “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work. We must help the weak. Remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive”, which teaches that there is joy in the act of giving when it is done with pure motives. Giving is never about you. The sooner we understand that, the easier it is to recognize our rewards.

Since Mr. Ward recognized the joy in giving book bags to other communities in need, ASJN will surely be rewarded with more individuals and corporate sponsors willing to join in and assist with improving the quality of life for all Jacksonians

I think it’s safe to say to Mr. Ross, “This is how partnerships are formed. We look forward to working with you in the future.”
