Community Give-A-Way and Peace Rally

Good News. Good News
.
On August 21, 2021, at the Community Giveaway and Peace Rally, there were 43 citizens tested for Covid-19 and 17 citizens received vaccinations.   What a success!  However, we must continue to encourage and inform our communities of the importance of being healthy during times of uncertainties. The words say, “Where much is given, much is required.”  Therefore, thanks to all vendors that participated and know that the citizens of Jackson, MS appreciate your services very much.  The event was held at the Food Depot on Northside Drive.

Now moving on... we have some upcoming events such as the Pop-up Community Giveaway/Peace Rally at Vineyard Church (August 28), the  Rival Week football game against Forest Hill and  Wingfield High Schools (September 21), Tougaloo College Awareness Day, and Faith & Blue during the weekend October 8th-11, 2021.

Our goal is to continue to serve Jackson MS with a committed partnership connecting communities, neighborhoods, churches, businesses, schools, non-profits, and anyone with the compassion to change Jackson for a better quality of life.  The Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods (ASJN) is appreciative of each of these groups and is committed to working alongside each entity.
