Special Roll Off Dumpster Day

Residents can take Garbage, rubbish, yard debris and other household items to one of the following locations from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Residents are asked NOT to bring tires, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, chemicals, or gas tanks.  These items are not accepted in the Roll Off Dumpster Program. Call 601.960.1193 to have these items picked up.

Ward 1        West Brook Road (near the soccer field)

Ward 2        James Davis Road (behind Callaway High School)

Ward 3        Lavernet Road (across from Hawkins Field)

Ward 4        Peter Quinn Drive, near Capital City Alternative School

Ward 5        Jackson Public Schools Enochs Complex, 101 Near Street

Ward 6        Tennis South Center, 1517 McDowell Road

Ward 7        Stadium Drive (west off Oxford Street behind Veterans
                    Memorial Stadium)

Rules: 

  • Participants are required to place debris inside dumpsters.
                                                                   
  • Businesses are not allowed to participate
                                                                       
  • Residents outside the Jackson area are not allowed to participate (Proof of residency may be required).
